Plot
A television series set in the Dune universe that focuses on the lives of the Bene Gesserit. Whether they are exploring the stars, escaping dystopia, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. This series may be based on the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. A prequel to the original Dune, it is the first part of the Great Schools of Dune trilogy and tells how the Sisterhood of Rossak transformed into the Bene Gesserit.

However, the series is based on the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Which centers around the Sisterhood – the origins of the Bene Gesserit, which take place 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides. Episode 1: The Hidden Hand is a science fiction fantasy drama with amazing special effects and fascinating setting. The episode introduces Valya Harkonnen (Emily Watson) and how she becomes the leader of the Sisterhood.
A power struggle emerges between the sisters
Valya trains young women to be truthful, subjecting them to rigorous physical and mental conditioning to develop supernatural abilities. They believe that the tools of survival are strength – the power of humanity and lies – the greatest weapon of man. Valya also has a sister, Tula Harkonnen (Olivia Williams), who is the Reverend Mother. Tula uses power to lead, but Valya uses it to rule. Meanwhile, Emperor Javicco Corrino (Mark Strong) is tasked with maintaining peace in the Empire, but he faces his own struggles to maintain power and control, reluctantly deciding to marry the young son (literally, child) of Prince Ferdinand Richese (Brendan Cowell) to his daughter Princess Ynez (Sarah-Sofie Boussnina) in order to secure an alliance when she becomes heir to the Golden Lion Throne.

Things heat up when Princess Ynez falls under the influence of her self-centered brother Constantine Corrino (Josh Heuston) and her lust for control over Swordmaster Kieran Atreides. Amidst the turmoil, a mysterious soldier named Desmond Hart (Travis Fimmel) slowly makes his way into the Empire, intent on gaining Emperor Javicco Corrino’s trust. Showrunner Alison Schapker is known for bringing cinematic visuals to the imaginative world of science fiction on screen, as seen in television series Lost, The Flash, to HBO’s critically acclaimed Westworld, and now Dune: Prophecy. The cast of a high-caliber ensemble cast, along with a fresh, up-and-coming cast, will appeal to a wider audience due to the diversity of the characters and storylines. Viewers will definitely relate to the premise of Sisterhood against “thinking machines” (AI technology) to preserve humanity’s power.
