A unique profile of British pop star Robbie Williams

It took a year and a half to get permission to film on the luxurious dance wall on Regent Street in London, as it is owned by the British royal family. Two days before the planned shoot, after a week of rehearsals, Queen Elizabeth II collapsed and filming was postponed. In any case, everyone had to be paid, including shop owners and the film crew, and the production’s insurance did not cover losses due to the monarch’s death.

The producers had to raise additional funds to film the wall, which was filmed five months later. I didn’t know what to expect from the film because I thought it would be quite strange to see Robbie as a monkey. In the end, the monkey adds a lot to the film.

You immediately fall in love with him and within a few minutes it IS Robbie. Jono Davies, who plays Robbie, is a brilliant actor. Even though you can’t see his face, he certainly knows how to portray him.

I have great respect for him

It’s not just about Robbie the pop star, but also about his younger years. In this film, he dares to be so vulnerable, telling many stories about his personal life, career and the difficulties he had to face. The music and visual effects also contribute a lot to the film.

The film is a mix of laughter, but certainly tears

At the end, it left me speechless, with tears in my eyes, but most of all PROUD of who he is today.
