Plot
Three strangers – who live in the same apartment building in New York City and share an obsession with true crime – suddenly find themselves involved in a murder… Steve Martin actually plays the concertina in various scenes. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lives above Oliver, who lives above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the opener has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th – in reverse order and far below CHS’s actual floor in the series.. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Only Murders in the Building. There’s a reason why both seasons were nominated for and won so many awards.
The three of them are so likable and easy to root for in this series
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the script make this series so special. Martin and Short play like the legends that they are, and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This series has been so good and every episode is so funny that I devoured both seasons in one weekend.
I can’t wait!
It’s a murder mystery series that has plenty of twists, turns, and laughs. I’m looking forward to season 3 coming out soon. Season 3 should be the best yet with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
