Remake of The Mole Agent (2020)

Plot

Charles, a retired man, finds a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a retirement home. Michael Schur was inspired to create “A Man On the Inside” after watching the Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.” He says, “The Mole Agent.” The documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar, regardless of their age, ethnicity, or gender, and I would describe that feeling very reductively as, “I have to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do the same thing with the tone: is our show ultimately contributing to that feeling of making us want to call our moms?

I love Ted Danson!

And he portrayed a very good widower stuck in a rut of grieving after the loss of his wife. The show is heartwarming and depicts the necessary companionship of family and friends as one ages, especially after the loss of a loved one.

It is also hilarious and goofy, in typical Danson fashion

It is an easy show to watch and laugh at with its touching moments and I am eagerly awaiting a second season! It starts off quick and easy and is easy to watch all 8 episodes.

And it doesn’t hurt to have a great cast!

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys goofy comedies but also wants something that makes them feel good.
